Rapper Kwame Yogot has revealed how much money he will charge political parties to get his support ahead of the 2024 elections.

The musician, real name Kenneth Kyeremanteng, has been vocal for a few months now after his song was utilised for a campaign without his consent a few months ago by Vice President Dr. Bawumia and the NPP.

Ever since, he has been berating the party and demanding that they take the appropriate action.

The federal elections of 2024 are quickly approaching, which means that for certain musicians, it's cocoa season. Kwame Yogot has stated that he will not endorse any political party for less than $1 billion.

He said that although people are free to charge whatever price they like, they should remember that the money would eventually run out and that it is dangerous to support a political party.

He clarified that he wants to charge them a high fee so that, should his career take a nosedive as a result of the endorsement, he will have something to cling to. He highlighted what would happen to him if he charged less and his career declined after endorsing them.

Yes, money is a necessity for everyone, but even though you can donate a particular amount to support a political party, that money will undoubtedly be spent.

"You must ensure that you are developing yourself appropriately in the way that you wish to, but if I accept payment to support a political party, that payment will amount to one billion dollars."

"I will charge a huge amount so that even if my career fades for endorsing a political party, I know I have some money somewhere to work with. I won't take an amount like $100,000 because I will finish spending that money."

He declared, "Therefore, any political party that is prepared to receive my endorsement must be ready because they have a lot to pay for my services."
